Teaching
My courses contribute to Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS), African American Studies, Health Humanities, and Disability Studies.

I am passionate about mentoring students who are first-generation, English Language Learners, POC, women-identifying, queer, disabled, etc. to conduct their own research, present at conferences, and publish.

My courses are designed to equip students to apply academic scholarship to embodied, contextual concerns. Together our classroom community nurtures curiosity and compassion.
